Bloomberg $24k. Koyfin $99/mo. Tikr $50. Seeking Alpha $239/yr. Quorum: the honest line-by-line.

Stock-research tooling has a price-discovery problem. Bloomberg quotes per-seat in five figures. Most retail tools quote per-month but bury annual upcharges. We'd rather just put the numbers next to each other.
The public-listed competitor matrix (2026)
Prices below are from each tool's published pricing page as of mid-2026. Where a tool has tiered pricing we name both.
- Bloomberg Terminal — ~$24,000–28,000 per seat per year. What you get: real-time global data, fixed-income depth, full 10-K/10-Q/transcript archive, BBG Anywhere mobile, IB chat. What it doesn't do: argue with itself; surface adversarial dissent; produce a written briefing per ticker.
- Koyfin Plus — $45/mo. Koyfin Pro — $99/mo. Equity data, charting, fundamentals, transcripts, screeners. No multi-model debate; verdicts are model-of-the-day chatbot answers.
- Tikr Plus — $30/mo. Tikr Pro — $50/mo. Strong fundamentals + estimate detail; built for value-investor workflows. No adversarial council; single-source consensus framing.
- Stock Rover Premium Plus — $250/yr (~$21/mo). Excellent screener + portfolio analytics. Single-source research notes.
- Seeking Alpha Premium — $239/yr. Crowd-sourced analyst notes + quant ratings. Editorial layer, not a dissent-aware system.
- Finviz Elite — $24.95/mo. Real-time charts + screener. No fundamental depth.
- AlphaSense / Sentieo — opaque enterprise pricing (typically $1.5-4k/seat/mo). Strong filing/transcript search; designed for institutional research desks.
Where Quorum's tiers fit
- Quorum Lite —
$0, free forever. 10-seat local council on our private GPU. 20 runs per user per day. 3-ticker watchlist. Canonical synthesizer + Executive Briefing + TL;DR. The only line item is our infrastructure — never yours.
- Quorum Pro —
$39/mo or $29/mo billed annually ($348/yr). 10-seat batched cloud syndicate, bell-curve verdict, 15-day shared-verdict reuse, 200+ tickers, profile-weighted Watchlist Council, FIFO queue with live ETA. The verdict format is identical to Lite; the seats are upgraded.
- Quorum Max — included with the Pro+ subscription at
$99/mo or $79/mo billed annually ($948/yr). Everything in Pro plus 10 Max briefings per day — frontier-model debate, four elaborated prompts per ticker (deep research / short-seller / exit plan / consensus), same canonical bell-curve verdict. Async — you keep working while it runs.
- Quorum Ultra-Max. Invite-only 7-Claude-Opus / 3-Codex council, paced at 8 runs/day and weekly-budget gated. No public self-serve price or accuracy claim.
- Team / RIA —
$199/mo for 5 Pro seats and shared watchlists. It is a collaboration plan, not a fifth research tier.

Cost per decision, not cost per month
Subscription pricing optimizes for "did you log in this month." That's the wrong metric for an investment tool — a decision you didn't have to make this month was a saved one. Reframed on cost per decision:
- Lite (free): $0 per decision, up to 20 decisions/day.
- Pro ($29-39/mo): at the annual rate that's under $1/day across an unlimited Pro watchlist (200+ tickers, 15-day shared-verdict cache means your marginal wait drops as more Pro users watch the same names).
- Pro+ ($79-99/mo, includes Max): at the annual rate that's under $2.65/day for up to 10 frontier-model briefings/day plus everything in Pro.
Bloomberg amortized over a year of professional use is ~$70-$80 per trading day. Quorum Pro+ at the annual rate is < $3/day for the same workflow, with a hard daily cap that protects you from your own scattershot 47-runs habit.

Multi-market coverage
Bloomberg, Koyfin and AlphaSense cover global markets natively. Tikr, Stock Rover, Seeking Alpha and Finviz lean US-centric (some add ADRs but their fundamentals depth on Asian listings is thin). Quorum runs the same 10-seat Council on US, India (NSE / BSE), China (Shanghai / Shenzhen), Hong Kong, Korea (KOSPI / KOSDAQ), Singapore and Japan tickers — same canonical synthesizer, same bell-curve verdict format, no separate "international plan" upsell. Add any ticker with its standard Yahoo suffix (RELIANCE.NS, 005930.KS, 0700.HK, 600519.SS) and the pipeline routes accordingly.
What each tool will NOT do
Honest comparison cuts both ways. Quorum will not (today):
- Stream real-time level-2 data. We're a research/verdict tool, not a trading terminal.
- Cover fixed income, FX, commodities. Equities only.
- Replace Bloomberg for a sell-side analyst's full workflow.
Quorum will (and the others mostly won't):
- Run an adversarial 10-seat council with named bull/bear roles, then preserve the dissent log instead of laundering it into consensus.
- Cap the frontier-model use visibly so you see the daily ceiling on the same page as the feature.
- State every tier's daily limit on the same page as the feature list.
- Run the same depth of analysis on a Mumbai NSE-listed name as on an S&P 500 name.
